Lead nurse speaks at the Cerner European Collaboration Forum

Bradford's lead nurse for the EPR programme has been invited to speak at a European conference about our successful launch

Kay Pagan, Assistant Chief Nurse for Informatics and the lead nurse on the EPR programme at Bradford Teaching Hospitals will be talking about the successful collaboration between two Yorkshire Trusts, to delegates from 13 European countries at the Cerner European Collaboration Forum 2018, this February.

The forum, which brings together delegates from European hospitals, aims to showcase the very best practice in the world of health informatics, share experiences and shine the spotlight on the latest developments in patient care using EPR systems.

Kay will be sharing successful approaches to engagement as a demonstration of how the programme achieved two successful go-lives in one of the largest EPR projects in the UK to date.

"The forum is a great opportunity to talk about how both Bradford and Calderdale & Huddersfield colleagues introduced a step-change in our patient care, with the introduction of EPR.  Our message to other delegates will focus on the involvement and enthusiasm of staff as being key to our success - encouraging others to take similar approaches."
